AND, INDEED, We have set up in the heavens great constellations, and endowed them with beauty for all to behold; 16 And We have kept it guarded from every outcast devil. 17 Except one who steals a hearing and is pursued by a clear burning flame. 18 And the earth-- We have spread it forth and made in it firm mountains and caused to grow in it of every suitable thing. 19 and provided thereon means of livelihood for you [O men] as well as for all [living beings] whose sustenance does not depend on you. 20 And there is not a thing but with Us are the treasures of it, and We do not send it down but in a known measure. 21 We send the winds fertilizing, and We send down out of heaven water, from which you drink and you are not its treasurers. 22 And certainly We! We it is Who give life, and cause death, and We are the Inheritors. 23 We know the ones of you who press forward, and We know the laggards; 24 Your Lord will resurrect them all; He is All-wise and All-knowing. 25
