Al-Hijjr 2 of 6

We have made constellations in the sky and decorated them for the onlookers. 16 And We guard it against every accursed Shaitan, 17 so that anyone who seeks to learn [the unknowable] by stealth is pursued by a flame clear to see. 18 And the earth - We have spread it out wide, and placed on it mountains firm, and caused [life] of every kind to grow on it in a balanced manner, 19 And We have appointed thereon for you livelihoods and also for those of whom ye are not the providers. 20 With Us is the source of everything and We do not send it down except in a known quantity. 21 We send impregnating winds and send down water from the sky for you to drink and you have no (control over its) storage. 22 It is We who give life and cause things to die and We are the sole Heirs. 23 And verily We know the eager among you and verily We know the laggards. 24 and it is your Lord who will gather them. He is Wise, Knowing. 25
