Al-Hijjr 2 of 6

It is We Who have set out the zodiacal signs in the heavens, and made them fair-seeming to (all) beholders; 16 And We have kept it guarded from every outcast devil. 17 But any that gains a hearing by stealth, is pursued by a flaming fire, bright (to see). 18 And the earth - We have spread it out wide, and placed on it mountains firm, and caused [life] of every kind to grow on it in a balanced manner, 19 And We have made for you therein means of living and [for] those for whom you are not providers. 20 And there is not a thing but with Us are the stores thereof. And we send it not down save in appointed measure. 21 And We send the winds fertilizing, then send down water from the cloud so We give it to you to drink of, nor is it you who store it up. 22 It is We who give life and We who give death, and We are the One who will abide. 23 Surely We know those of you who have passed before and those who will come later. 24 It is your Lord who will gather them. He is all wise and all knowing. 25
