Al-Hijjr 2 of 6

We have indeed set constellations in the heavens and have beautified them for the beholders, 16 And We have guarded it (near heaven) from every outcast Shaitan (devil). 17 But any that gains a hearing by stealth, is pursued by a flaming fire, bright (to see). 18 As for the earth, We have stretched it out and have cast on it firm mountains, and have caused to grow in it everything well-measured. 19 And we have given unto you livelihoods therein, and unto those for whom ye provide not. 20 And there is not of aught but with Us are the treasures thereof, and We send it not down save in a measure known 21 And We loose the winds fertilising, and We send down out of heaven water, then We give it to you to drink, and you are not its treasurers. 22 And indeed it is We Who give life and it is We Who cause death, and We are the Inheritors. 23 To Us are known those of you who hasten forward, and those who lag behind. 24 Your Lord will resurrect them all; He is All-wise and All-knowing. 25
