And indeed We created towers in the skies, and beautified it for the beholders. 16 and have protected them against every accursed satan 17 excepting such as listens by stealth -- and he is pursued by a manifest flame. 18 And the earth! We have stretched it out and have cast thereon mountains firm, and We have caused to spring up thereon everything weighed. 19 and provided thereon means of livelihood for you [O men] as well as for all [living beings] whose sustenance does not depend on you. 20 Of all things there are We have the stores, and send them down in determined measure. 21 We send rain-impregnated winds, and water from the sky which you drink, but you are not the keepers of its store. 22 And surely, it is We who give life and make to die. We are the Inheritor. 23 And assuredly We know those of you who have gone before and those who will come hereafter. 24 And surely your Lord will gather them together; surely He is Wise, Knowing. 25
