And We have placed within the heaven great stars and have beautified it for the observers. 16 and guarded them from every stoned satan. 17 excepting such as listens by stealth -- and he is pursued by a manifest flame. 18 And the earth have We spread out, and placed therein firm hills, and caused each seemly thing to grow therein. 19 to provide you and those for whose sustenance you are not responsible, with the necessities of life. 20 And there is not a thing but that with Us are its depositories, and We do not send it down except according to a known measure. 21 We send impregnating winds and send down water from the sky for you to drink and you have no (control over its) storage. 22 Lo! and it is We, even We, Who quicken and give death, and We are the Inheritor. 23 And assuredly We know those of you who have gone before and those who will come hereafter. 24 And verily, your Lord will gather them together. Truly, He is All-Wise, All-Knowing. 25

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
