And indeed, We have put the big stars in the heaven and We beautified it for the beholders. 16 and have protected them against every accursed satan 17 Save him who stealeth the hearing, and them doth a clear flame pursue. 18 And the earth We have spread out (like a carpet); set thereon mountains firm and immovable; and produced therein all kinds of things in due balance. 19 and provided thereon means of livelihood for you [O men] as well as for all [living beings] whose sustenance does not depend on you. 20 Naught is there, but its treasuries are with Us, and We send it not down but in a known measure. 21 And We send the fecundating winds, then cause the rain to descend from the sky, therewith providing you with water (in abundance), though ye are not the guardians of its stores. 22 It is We who give life and We who give death, and We are the One who will abide. 23 To Us are known those of you who hasten forward, and those who lag behind. 24 and it is thy Lord shall muster them, and He is All-wise, All-knowing. 25
