Al-Hijjr 2 of 6

We have placed constellations in heaven and have beautified it for beholders, 16 And We have preserved it from every accursed devil, 17 Save him who stealeth the hearing, and them doth a clear flame pursue. 18 We have spread out the earth, and set upon it firm mountains and caused everything to grow in due proportion. 19 And We have made for you therein means of living and [for] those for whom you are not providers. 20 With Us is the source of everything and We do not send it down except in a known quantity. 21 And We send the winds fertilizing, then We send down water from the heaven and We give it to you to drink, and thereof ye could not be the treasurers. 22 It is indeed We Who grant life and cause death and it is We who shall be the sole Inheritors of all. 23 We know those who lived before you and those who will come after you. 24 And indeed, your Lord will gather them; indeed, He is Wise and Knowing. 25
