Al-Hijjr 2 of 6

We have indeed set constellations in the heavens and have beautified them for the beholders, 16 And We have kept it guarded from every outcast devil. 17 Except the ones who listen on the sly, yet they are chased away by a shooting flame. 18 And the earth - We have spread it out wide, and placed on it mountains firm, and caused [life] of every kind to grow on it in a balanced manner, 19 and there appointed for you is a livelihood, and for those you do not provide. 20 Of all things there are We have the stores, and send them down in determined measure. 21 We send impregnating winds and send down water from the sky for you to drink and you have no (control over its) storage. 22 It is We who give life and cause things to die and We are the sole Heirs. 23 To Us are known those of you who hasten forward, and those who lag behind. 24 And verily, your Lord will gather them together. Truly, He is All-Wise, All-Knowing. 25
