▼ 15 The Hijjr Valley
Al-Hijjr 2 of 6

We have placed the signs of the Zodiac in the sky, and decked it out for those who can see; 16 And We guard it against every accursed Shaitan, 17 Except for he who steals the listening and is then pursued by a visible flame. 18 And We spread out the earth, and placed mountains as anchors in it, and in it grew all things by a proper measure. 19 And We have provided sustenance for you on it and also for those of whom you are not the providers. 20 With Us is the source of everything and We do not send it down except in a known quantity. 21 And We let loose the winds to fertilize [plants] and We send down water from the skies and let you drink thereof: and it is not you who dispose of its source 22 And verily We! it is We who give life and death, and We shall be the survivors. 23 And assuredly We know those of you who have gone before and those who will come hereafter. 24 Assuredly it is thy Lord Who will gather them together: for He is perfect in Wisdom and Knowledge. 25
