Al-Hijjr 2 of 6

And We have placed within the heaven great stars and have beautified it for the observers. 16 and guarded them from every stoned satan. 17 But he who steals a hearing, so there follows him a visible flame. 18 We have spread out the earth, and set upon it firm mountains and caused everything to grow in due proportion. 19 And We have provided therein means of subsistence,- for you and for those for whose sustenance ye are not responsible. 20 And there is not a thing but its (sources and) treasures (inexhaustible) are with Us; but We only send down thereof in due and ascertainable measures. 21 We let loose fertilizing winds, and bring water from the sky for you to drink; and you could not have stored it up for yourselves. 22 And certainly We! We it is Who give life, and cause death, and We are the Inheritors. 23 We know the ones of you who press forward, and We know the laggards; 24 Assuredly it is thy Lord Who will gather them together: for He is perfect in Wisdom and Knowledge. 25
