Al-Hijjr 2 of 6

And certainly We have made strongholds in the heaven and We have made it fair seeming to the beholders. 16 And We have protected it from every devil expelled [from the mercy of Allah] 17 But he who steals a hearing, so there follows him a visible flame. 18 And the earth-- We have spread it forth and made in it firm mountains and caused to grow in it of every suitable thing. 19 And We have made for you therein means of living and [for] those for whom you are not providers. 20 And there is not of aught but with Us are the treasures thereof, and We send it not down save in a measure known 21 And We have sent the fertilizing winds and sent down water from the sky and given you drink from it. And you are not its retainers. 22 And certainly We! We it is Who give life, and cause death, and We are the Inheritors. 23 We know the people who lived before you and those who will come into existence after you. 24 It is your Lord who will gather them. He is all wise and all knowing. 25
