Al-Hijjr 2 of 6

We have made constellations in the sky and decorated them for the onlookers. 16 And We have protected it from every devil expelled [from the mercy of Allah] 17 Except the ones who listen on the sly, yet they are chased away by a shooting flame. 18 We have spread out the earth, and set upon it firm mountains and caused everything to grow in due proportion. 19 And We have provided therein means of subsistence,- for you and for those for whose sustenance ye are not responsible. 20 Naught is there, but its treasuries are with Us, and We send it not down but in a known measure. 21 And We loose the winds fertilising, and We send down out of heaven water, then We give it to you to drink, and you are not its treasurers. 22 Truly, it is We who bring to life and We who cause death and We are the inheritor of all things. 23 To Us are known those of you who hasten forward, and those who lag behind. 24 And surely your Lord will gather them together; surely He is Wise, Knowing. 25
