Al-Hijjr 2 of 6

We have placed the signs of the Zodiac in the sky, and decked it out for those who can see; 16 and We have made them secure against every satanic force accursed 17 Except the ones who listen on the sly, yet they are chased away by a shooting flame. 18 We stretched the earth and placed upon it firm stabilisers, and made all things grow upon it balanced evenly. 19 And we have given unto you livelihoods therein, and unto those for whom ye provide not. 20 Of all things there are We have the stores, and send them down in determined measure. 21 And We send the winds fertilising, and cause water to descend from the sky, and give it you to drink. It is not ye who are the holders of the store thereof. 22 for, behold, it is We - We alone - who grant life and deal death, and it is We alone who shall remain after all else will have passed away! 23 Surely We know those of you who have passed before and those who will come later. 24 It is your Lord who will gather them. He is all wise and all knowing. 25
