Al-Hijjr 2 of 6

We have placed constellations in heaven and have beautified it for beholders, 16 and We have made them secure against every satanic force accursed 17 but if anyone eavesdrops, he is pursued by a bright flaming fire. 18 And the earth-- We have spread it forth and made in it firm mountains and caused to grow in it of every suitable thing. 19 and there appointed for you livelihood, and for those you provide not for. 20 Naught is there, but its treasuries are with Us, and We send it not down but in a known measure. 21 And We send the winds fertilizing, then We send down water from the heaven and We give it to you to drink, and thereof ye could not be the treasurers. 22 Lo! and it is We, even We, Who quicken and give death, and We are the Inheritor. 23 And verily We know the eager among you and verily We know the laggards. 24 And indeed, your Lord will gather them; indeed, He is Wise and Knowing. 25
