Al-Hijjr 2 of 6

And certainly We have made strongholds in the heaven and We have made it fair seeming to the beholders. 16 and have protected them against every accursed satan 17 save him who may eavesdrop, and then a bright flame pursues him. 18 And We spread out the earth, and placed mountains as anchors in it, and in it grew all things by a proper measure. 19 And We have provided sustenance for you on it and also for those of whom you are not the providers. 20 There is not a thing but its storehouses are with Us. But We only send down each thing in an appropriate measure: 21 And We loose the winds fertilising, and We send down out of heaven water, then We give it to you to drink, and you are not its treasurers. 22 for, behold, it is We - We alone - who grant life and deal death, and it is We alone who shall remain after all else will have passed away! 23 And certainly We know those of you who have gone before and We certainly know those who shall come later. 24 Your Lord will resurrect them all; He is All-wise and All-knowing. 25
