▼ 15 The Hijjr Valley
Al-Hijjr 2 of 6
It is We Who have set out the zodiacal signs in the heavens, and made them fair-seeming to (all) beholders; 16 and have protected them against every accursed satan 17 but if anyone eavesdrops, he is pursued by a bright flaming fire. 18 We have spread out the earth, and set upon it firm mountains and caused everything to grow in due proportion. 19 and there appointed for you is a livelihood, and for those you do not provide. 20 And there is not a thing but with Us are its treasuries, and We do not send it down except in a known measure. 21 And We let loose the winds to fertilize [plants] and We send down water from the skies and let you drink thereof: and it is not you who dispose of its source 22 It is We who give life and We who give death, and We are the One who will abide. 23 And certainly We know those of you who have gone before and We certainly know those who shall come later. 24 Assuredly it is thy Lord Who will gather them together: for He is perfect in Wisdom and Knowledge. 25
