We created man from sounding clay, from mud moulded into shape; 26 And the jinn did We create aforetime of essential fire. 27 And [mention, O Muhammad], when your Lord said to the angels, "I will create a human being out of clay from an altered black mud. 28 When it is properly shaped and I have blown My Spirit into it, you should then bow down in prostration". 29 Then the angels bowed themselves all together, 30 save Iblis; he refused to be among those bowing. 31 (Allah) said: "O Iblis! what is your reason for not being among those who prostrated themselves?" 32 He replied, "I am not one to prostrate myself to a man whom You have created out of a clay of moulded mud." 33 (Allah) said: "Then get thee out from here; for thou art rejected, accursed. 34 Upon thee shall rest the curse, till the Day of Doom.' 35 He said: My Lord! Reprieve me till the day when they are raised. 36 Said He, 'Thou art among the ones that are respited 37 "Till the Day of the time appointed." 38 Said he, 'My Lord, for Thy perverting me I shall deck all fair to them in the earth, and I shall pervert them, all together, 39 "Except Your chosen, (guided) slaves among them." 40 He said: This is a right course incumbent upon Me: 41 Surely, you shall have no power over My true servants, except those misguided ones who choose to follow you. 42 being perverse; Gehenna shall be their promised land all together. 43 To it are seven gates: for each of those gates is a (special) class (of sinners) assigned. 44

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
