And assuredly We have created human being from ringing clay of loam moulded. 26 And the jinn, We had created them afore of the fire of the scroching wind. 27 When your Lord said to the angels, "I will create the human being out of pure mud-moulded clay. 28 When I have shaped him and ran My created soul in him fall down prostrating towards him'. 29 So the angels fell prostrate, all of them together 30 But Iblis (did it not); he refused to be with those who made obeisance. 31 (Allah) said: "O Iblis! what is your reason for not being among those who prostrated themselves?" 32 He said: I am not one to prostrate myself unto a mortal whom Thou hast created out of potter's clay of black mud altered! 33 God told him, "Get out of the garden; you are rejected 34 Upon thee shall rest the curse, till the Day of Doom.' 35 [Iblis (Satan)] said: "O my Lord! Give me then respite till the Day they (the dead) will be resurrected." 36 Allah said: verily then thou art of the respited: 37 unto the day of a known time.' 38 [Iblis (Satan)] said: "O my Lord! Because you misled me, I shall indeed adorn the path of error for them (mankind) on the earth, and I shall mislead them all. 39 excepting those Thy servants among them that are devoted. 40 God said, "The path which leads to Me is a straight 41 and you have no authority over My servants except the erring ones who follow you. 42 Hell is the promised place for them all. 43 It has seven gates; for each gate is a portion assigned from them. 44
