Surely We created man of a clay of mud moulded, 26 and before him We created the jinn from smokeless fire. 27 And when your Lord said to the angels: Surely I am going to create a mortal of the essence of black mud fashioned in shape. 28 When I have completed shaping him and have breathed into him of My Spirit, then fall you down before him in prostration." 29 then the angels all prostrated themselves together. 30 But Satan did not; he refused to join those who prostrated themselves. 31 Allah said: O Iblis! what aileth thou that thou art not with the prostrates? 32 He replied, "I am not one to prostrate myself to a man whom You have created out of a clay of moulded mud." 33 Said Allah, “Therefore exit from Paradise, for you are an outcast.” 34 And lo! the curse shall be upon thee till the Day of Judgment. 35 He said, “My Lord! Grant me respite till the day when they will all be raised.” 36 "You are among the reprieved," (said the Lord), 37 Until the Day of the time well-known." 38 He said: my Lord! because Thou hast led me to err I will surely make things fairseeming unto them on the earth and will surely seduce them all: 39 “Except those among them who are Your chosen bondmen.” 40 God said, "The path which leads to Me is a straight 41 Surely, as regards My servants, you have no authority, over them except those who follow you of the deviators. 42 And lo! for all such, hell will be the promised place. 43 "It (Hell) has seven gates, for each of those gates is a (special) class (of sinners) assigned. 44
