We have created the human being out of pure mud-moulded clay 26 As We fashioned jinns before from intense radiated heat. 27 And recall when your Lord said to the angels, “I will create man from sounding clay made out of black smelly mud.” 28 When it is properly shaped and I have blown My Spirit into it, you should then bow down in prostration". 29 So, the angels prostrated themselves, all of them together. 30 But Satan did not; he refused to join those who prostrated themselves. 31 He said: O Iblis! what excuse have you that you are not with those who make obeisance? 32 He answered, “It does not befit me to prostrate myself to a human whom You have created from sounding clay made out of black smelly mud.” 33 God told him, "Get out of the garden; you are rejected 34 And indeed, upon you is the curse until the Day of Recompense." 35 He said, "My Lord, then reprieve me until the Day they are resurrected." 36 Allah said: "For sure you are granted respite 37 till that Appointed Day." 38 [Iblees] said, "My Lord, because You have put me in error, I will surely make [disobedience] attractive to them on earth, and I will mislead them all 39 Except, among them, Your chosen servants." 40 Allah said: this is the path leading unto Me straight. 41 Verily as for My bondmen, no authority shalt thou have over them, except the erring one who follow thee. 42 And indeed hell is the promise for all of them. 43 To it are seven gates: for each of those gates is a (special) class (of sinners) assigned. 44
