And We did certainly create man out of clay from an altered black mud. 26 and the jinn before (the human being) of smokeless fire. 27 And [mention, O Muhammad], when your Lord said to the angels, "I will create a human being out of clay from an altered black mud. 28 and when I have formed him fully and breathed into him of My spirit, fall down before him in prostration! 29 Therefore all the angels, each and every one of them, fell prostrate. 30 Except Iblees, he refused to be with those who prostrated. 31 "How is it, O Iblis," said (the Lord), "you did not join those who bowed in homage?" 32 He said it was not for me that I should prostrate myself unto a human being whom Thou hast created from ringing clay of loam moulded. 33 Said Allah, “Therefore exit from Paradise, for you are an outcast.” 34 And indeed, upon you is the curse until the Day of Recompense." 35 He said, "My Lord, then reprieve me until the Day they are resurrected." 36 The Lord said, "Your request is granted 37 “Till the Day of a well-known time.” 38 Iblis said, "Lord, because you have caused me to go astray, I shall make earthly things attractive to (people) and mislead all of them 39 except for Your chosen servants." 40 God said, "The path which leads to Me is a straight 41 Surely, as regards My servants, you have no authority, over them except those who follow you of the deviators. 42 And verily Hell is the place promised unto them all. 43 It has seven gates, and through each gate a portion of them belong. 44
