And assuredly We have created human being from ringing clay of loam moulded. 26 and the jinn created We before of fire flaming. 27 When your Lord said to the angels: 'See, I am creating a mortal from clay of molded mud. 28 and when I have formed him fully and breathed into him of My spirit, fall down before him in prostration! 29 The angels bowed in homage in a body 30 But Iblis (did it not); he refused to be with those who made obeisance. 31 Allah said: O Iblis! what aileth thou that thou art not with the prostrates? 32 He said: I am not one to prostrate myself unto a mortal whom Thou hast created out of potter's clay of black mud altered! 33 Allah said: then get thee forth therefrom; verily thou art one damned. 34 Upon thee shall rest the curse, till the Day of Doom.' 35 He said: My Lord! then respite me till the time when they are raised. 36 Said Allah, “You are of those given respite.” 37 till that Appointed Day." 38 He said, "My Lord, since You have let me go astray. I shall make the path of error seem alluring to them on the earth and shall mislead them all, 39 "Except Your chosen, (guided) slaves among them." 40 Said Allah, “This path* leads straight towards Me.” (* The path of the chosen bondmen.) 41 "Certainly, you shall have no authority over My slaves, except those who follow you of the Ghawin (Mushrikun and those who go astray, criminals, polytheists, and evil-doers, etc.). 42 And verily, Hell is the promised abode for them all! 43 It has seven gates, and through each gate a portion of them belong. 44
