But the godfearing shall be amidst gardens and fountains: 45 "Enter in peace and tranquility," (they will be told). 46 We shall remove all rancor from their hearts, and as brethren they shall recline on couches face to face. 47 no fatigue there shall smite them, neither shall they ever be driven forth from there. 48 ۞ Tell My servants that I - I alone - am truly forgiving, a true dispenser of grace; 49 At the same time, My chastisement is highly painful. 50 And tell them of the guests of Abraham, 51 They entered to him and said: 'Peace' but he replied: 'We are afraid of you' 52 Said they: "Fear not! Behold, we bring thee the glad tiding of [the birth of] a son who will be endowed with deep knowledge." 53 He said: bear ye me glad tidings when old age hath touched me? of what then ye bear me glad tidings? 54 They said: "The good tiding we give you is of truth. Do not, therefore, be of those who despair." 55 He said, "Who but the misguided despair of the mercy of their Lord?" 56 He said, “And what is your next task, O the sent angels?” 57 They answered: "We are sent to people lost in sin [who are to be destroyed,] 58 All except the household of Lut; surely we are going to deliver all of them. 59 "Except his wife, who, We have ascertained, will be among those who will lag behind." 60
