Verily the God-fearing shall be amidst gardens and springs. 45 [having been received with the greeting,] "Enter here in peace, secure!" 46 We shall remove all rancor from their hearts, and as brethren they shall recline on couches face to face. 47 They will not be affected by any weariness there, and they will never be made to leave." 48 ۞ Tell My servants that I alone am the Forgiving, the Merciful One, 49 At the same time, My chastisement is highly painful. 50 Inform them about the matter of Abraham's guests. 51 When they came to Abraham they said: "Peace be upon you!" He replied: "Indeed we feel afraid of you." 52 They said: Be not afraid! Lo! we bring thee good tidings of a boy possessing wisdom. 53 He said, 'What, do you give me good tidings, though old age has smitten me? Of what do you 54 They said: "The good tiding we give you is of truth. Do not, therefore, be of those who despair." 55 Abraham said: "Who despairs of the Mercy of his Lord except the misguided?" 56 Then he asked, "What then is your business, O messengers?" 57 They said: We have been sent unto a guilty folk, 58 (All) save the family of Lot. Them we shall deliver every one, 59 Except his wife, of whom We had decreed that she should be of those who stay behind. 60
