But the cautious shall live amongst gardens and fountains: 45 "Enter therein in peace and security!" -- 46 And We remove whatever rancour may be in their breasts. As brethren, face to face, (they rest) on couches raised. 47 There shall touch them no toil therein, nor therefrom they shall ever be driven out. 48 ۞ Declare thou unto My bondmen: verily I! I am the Forgiver, the Merciful. 49 But My punishment is surely a painful one. 50 And tell them about the guests (the angels) of Ibrahim (Abraham). 51 When they came to him and said: "Peace," he answered: "Truly we are afraid of you." 52 [The angels] said, "Fear not. Indeed, we give you good tidings of a learned boy." 53 "You bring me the good news now," he said, "when old age has come upon me. What good news are you giving me then?" 54 They answered: "We have given thee the glad tiding of something that is bound to come true. So be not of those who abandon hope!" 55 He said, 'And who despairs of the mercy of his Lord, excepting those that are astray?' 56 [Ibrahim (Abraham) again] said: "What then is the business on which you have come, O Messengers?" 57 "We have been sent," they said, "to (punish) a sinful people, 58 Except Lut's followers: We will most surely deliver them all, 59 except his wife. We have decreed that she will be among those who remain behind [and will be lost]. 60

When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
