VERILY, those who are conscious of God [shall find themselves in the hereafter] amidst gardens and springs, 45 and they will be told to enter there in peace and safety. 46 And We remove whatever rancour may be in their breasts. As brethren, face to face, (they rest) on couches raised. 47 Neither any hardship is to reach them in it, nor are they to be expelled from it. 48 ۞ Inform My bondmen that undoubtedly, I surely am the Oft-Forgiving, the Most Merciful. 49 But My punishment is surely a painful one. 50 And tell them about Abraham's guests. 51 (How) when they came in unto him, and said: Peace. He said: Lo! we are afraid of you. 52 "Have no fear," they said. "We bring you news of a son full of wisdom." 53 He said: bear ye me glad tidings when old age hath touched me? of what then ye bear me glad tidings? 54 They said, "We have given you good tidings in truth, so do not be of the despairing." 55 He said: "And who despairs of the mercy of his Lord, but such as go astray?" 56 He added: "What is your errand O sent ones?" 57 They said, "Indeed, we have been sent to a people of criminals, 58 All except the household of Lut; surely we are going to deliver all of them. 59 Except his wife, of whom We had decreed that she should be of those who stay behind. 60
