The righteous (will be) amid gardens and fountains (of clear-flowing water). 45 (And it is said unto them): Enter them in peace, secure. 46 We shall remove all rancor from their hearts, and as brethren they shall recline on couches face to face. 47 There shall touch them no toil therein, nor therefrom they shall ever be driven out. 48 ۞ Inform My servants that I am the Forgiving, the Merciful, 49 And verily My torment! that is the torment afflictive 50 And tell them about the guests (the angels) of Ibrahim (Abraham). 51 (How) when they came in unto him, and said: Peace. He said: Lo! we are afraid of you. 52 'Do not be afraid' they answered. 'We come to give you glad tidings of a knowledgeable child' 53 He said: Bring ye me good tidings (of a son) when old age hath overtaken me? Of what then can ye bring good tidings? 54 They said: We give you good news with truth, therefore be not of the despairing. 55 [Abraham] exclaimed: "And who - other than those who have utterly lost their way - could ever abandon the hope of his Sustainer's grace?" 56 Then he asked, "What then is your business, O messengers?" 57 They said, 'We have been sent unto a people of sinners, 58 excepting the household of Lot. We shall deliver all of them, 59 except his wife. We have decreed that she will be among those who remain behind [and will be lost]. 60
