The righteous (will be) amid gardens and fountains (of clear-flowing water). 45 Enter them in peace, secure. 46 And We shall purge their breasts of all traces of rancour; and they shall be seated on couches facing one another as brothers. 47 No fatigue will touch them nor will they be expelled therefrom." 48 ۞ Tell My servants that I alone am the Forgiving, the Merciful One, 49 and that My punishment is a painful one. 50 And tell them about Abraham's guests. 51 (How) when they came in unto him, and said: Peace. He said: Lo! we are afraid of you. 52 Said they: "Fear not! Behold, we bring thee the glad tiding of [the birth of] a son who will be endowed with deep knowledge." 53 He said, "Do you bring me such news despite my old age? What kind of good news are you bringing me?" 54 give me good tidings?' They said, 'We give thee good tidings of truth. Be not of those that despair.' 55 He said, "And who despairs of the mercy of his Lord except for those astray?" 56 [Abraham] said, "Then what is your business [here], O messengers?" 57 They said, "We have been sent forth to a guilty people." 58 Only the family of Lot will all be saved, 59 all together, excepting his wife -- we have decreed, she shall surely be of those that tarry.' 60
