The pious will live in gardens with streams 45 "Enter therein in peace and security!" -- 46 We shall cleanse their hearts of all traces of ill-will; they will be like brethren seated on couches facing one another. 47 "No sense of fatigue shall touch them, nor shall they (ever) be asked to leave it." 48 ۞ Inform My bondmen that undoubtedly, I surely am the Oft-Forgiving, the Most Merciful. 49 and that My punishment is a painful one. 50 And tell them of the guests of Abraham, 51 When they entered upon him and said, "Peace." [Abraham] said, "Indeed, we are fearful of you." 52 They said: Be not afraid! Lo! we bring thee good tidings of a boy possessing wisdom. 53 He said, "Do you bring me such news despite my old age? What kind of good news are you bringing me?" 54 "We have given you the happy tidings of a truth," they replied. "So do not be one of those who despair." 55 He said, "And who despairs of the mercy of his Lord except for those astray?" 56 [Ibrahim (Abraham) again] said: "What then is the business on which you have come, O Messengers?" 57 They answered: "We are sent to people lost in sin [who are to be destroyed,] 58 Except for Lot's household, all of whom we shall rescue, 59 "Except his wife, who, We have ascertained, will be among those who will lag behind." 60
