Truly, the God-fearing shall dwell amid gardens and fountains -- 45 Enter them in peace, secure. 46 And We shall purge their breasts of all traces of rancour; and they shall be seated on couches facing one another as brothers. 47 No weariness shall ever touch them in this [state of bliss,] and never shall they have to forgo it. 48 ۞ Inform My servants that I am the Forgiving, the Merciful, 49 And that indeed the punishment of Mine is a painful punishment. 50 And tell them about Abraham's guests. 51 when they entered unto him, saying, 'Peace!' He said, 'Behold, we are afraid of you.' 52 They (the angels) said: "Do not be afraid! We give you glad tidings of a boy (son) possessing much knowledge and wisdom." 53 He said, 'What, do you give me good tidings, though old age has smitten me? Of what do you 54 They answered: "We have given thee the glad tiding of something that is bound to come true. So be not of those who abandon hope!" 55 He said, "And who despairs of the mercy of his Lord except for those astray?" 56 He said, “And what is your next task, O the sent angels?” 57 They answered: "We are sent to people lost in sin [who are to be destroyed,] 58 Except for Lot's household, all of whom we shall rescue, 59 Except his wife; We ordained that she shall surely be of those who remain behind. 60
