Al-Hijjr 4 of 6
The righteous (will be) amid gardens and fountains (of clear-flowing water). 45 "Enter therein in peace and security!" -- 46 And We shall remove from their hearts any lurking sense of injury: (they will be) brothers (joyfully) facing each other on thrones (of dignity). 47 There no sense of fatigue shall touch them, nor shall they (ever) be asked to leave. 48 ۞ Declare thou unto My bondmen: verily I! I am the Forgiver, the Merciful. 49 And that My Torment is indeed the most painful torment. 50 And tell them of the guests of Abraham, 51 When they came to Abraham they said: "Peace be upon you!" He replied: "Indeed we feel afraid of you." 52 Said they: "Fear not! Behold, we bring thee the glad tiding of [the birth of] a son who will be endowed with deep knowledge." 53 He said: bear ye me glad tidings when old age hath touched me? of what then ye bear me glad tidings? 54 They (the angels) said: "We give you glad tidings in truth. So be not of the despairing ones." 55 [Abraham] exclaimed: "And who - other than those who have utterly lost their way - could ever abandon the hope of his Sustainer's grace?" 56 Messengers, what is your task?" 57 They said, 'We have been sent unto a people of sinners, 58 Only the family of Lot will all be saved, 59 Except his wife; We ordained that she shall surely be of those who remain behind. 60
