Verily those who keep away from evil and follow the straight path shall be in the midst of gardens and springs of water. 45 [Having been told], "Enter it in peace, safe [and secure]." 46 And We have removed any resentments which were in their breasts – they are brothers, sitting face to face on thrones. 47 Toil shall not afflict them in it, nor shall they be ever ejected from it. 48 ۞ Declare thou unto My bondmen: verily I! I am the Forgiver, the Merciful. 49 and that My punishment is a painful punishment. 50 Inform them about the matter of Abraham's guests. 51 When they came to him and said: "Peace," he answered: "Truly we are afraid of you." 52 'Do not be afraid' they answered. 'We come to give you glad tidings of a knowledgeable child' 53 He said, "Have you given me good tidings although old age has come upon me? Then of what [wonder] do you inform?" 54 They (the angels) said: "We give you glad tidings in truth. So be not of the despairing ones." 55 He said: and who despondeth of the mercy of his Lord except the astray 56 He said: what is your errand, sent ones? 57 They answered: "We are sent to people lost in sin [who are to be destroyed,] 58 barring Lot's household, all of whom, behold, we shall save 59 Except his wife, of whom We had decreed that she should be of those who stay behind. 60
