The pious will live in gardens with streams 45 [Having been told], "Enter it in peace, safe [and secure]." 46 And [by then] We shall have removed whatever unworthy thoughts or feelings may have been [lingering] in their breasts, [and they shall rest] as brethren, facing one another [in love] upon thrones of happiness. 47 No fatigue will touch them therein, nor from it will they [ever] be removed. 48 ۞ Tell My servants that I - I alone - am truly forgiving, a true dispenser of grace; 49 But My punishment is surely a painful one. 50 Inform them about the matter of Abraham's guests. 51 (How) when they came in unto him, and said: Peace. He said: Lo! we are afraid of you. 52 Said they: "Fear not! Behold, we bring thee the glad tiding of [the birth of] a son who will be endowed with deep knowledge." 53 Abraham said: "What, do you give me this tiding though old age has smitten me? Just consider what tiding do you give me!" 54 They said: "We give thee glad tidings in truth: be not then in despair!" 55 He said, "No one despairs of the mercy of his Lord except those who are in error. 56 He said, “And what is your next task, O the sent angels?” 57 They said: "We have been sent to a people (deep) in sin, 58 Only the family of Lot will all be saved, 59 excepting only his wife, [of whom God says,] 'We have ordained [that,] behold, she should be among those who stay behind!' 60
