Al-Hijjr 4 of 6
Truly, the God-fearing shall dwell amid gardens and fountains -- 45 (Their greeting will be): "Enter ye here in peace and security." 46 We shall strip away all rancour that is in their breasts; as brothers they shall be upon couches set face to face; 47 There no sense of fatigue shall touch them, nor shall they (ever) be asked to leave. 48 ۞ Tell My servants that I alone am the Forgiving, the Merciful One, 49 And that My punishment-- that is the painful punishment. 50 Inform them about the matter of Abraham's guests. 51 When they entered upon him and said, "Peace." [Abraham] said, "Indeed, we are fearful of you." 52 They said, "Do not be afraid. We come to you with good news. You shall have a son who shall be endowed with great knowledge." 53 "You bring me the good news now," he said, "when old age has come upon me. What good news are you giving me then?" 54 They said, “We have given you true tidings, therefore do not lose hope.” 55 He said, 'And who despairs of the mercy of his Lord, excepting those that are astray?' 56 He said, “And what is your next task, O the sent angels?” 57 They (the angels) said: "We have been sent to a people who are Mujrimun (criminals, disbelievers, polytheists, sinners). 58 (All) save the family of Lot. Them we shall deliver every one, 59 but his wife. We decreed that she should be amongst those who remain behind. 60

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
