Surely those who guard (against evil) shall be in the midst of gardens and fountains: 45 [having been received with the greeting,] "Enter here in peace, secure!" 46 And We shall purge their breasts of all traces of rancour; and they shall be seated on couches facing one another as brothers. 47 There, no fatigue shall smite them, nor shall they ever be driven from it' 48 ۞ Tell My servants that I alone am the Forgiving, the Merciful One, 49 And that My punishment-- that is the painful punishment. 50 And declare thou unto them of Ibrahim's guests. 51 When they entered upon him, they said, Peace. He said: Surely we are afraid of you. 52 'Do not be afraid' they answered. 'We come to give you glad tidings of a knowledgeable child' 53 Said he: "Do you give me this glad tiding despite the fact that old age has overtaken me? Of what [strange thing,] then, are you giving me a tiding!" 54 They said: "The good tiding we give you is of truth. Do not, therefore, be of those who despair." 55 "Who would despair of the mercy of his Lord," he answered, "but those who go astray." 56 He said, “And what is your next task, O the sent angels?” 57 They said: "Verily we have been sent to a guilty people 58 “Except the family of Lut; we shall rescue all of them.” 59 except his wife. We have decreed that she will be among those who remain behind [and will be lost]. 60
