As brethren, face to face, (they rest) on couches raised. 47 No fatigue will touch them therein, nor from it will they [ever] be removed. 48 ۞ (Muhammad), tell My servants that I am All-forgiving and All-merciful 49 and that My chastisement is the painful chastisement. 50 And declare thou unto them of Ibrahim's guests. 51 When they entered unto him, and said; peace! He said: verily we are afraid of you. 52 They said: Be not afraid, surely we give you the good news of a boy, possessing knowledge. 53 Said he: "Do you give me this glad tiding despite the fact that old age has overtaken me? Of what [strange thing,] then, are you giving me a tiding!" 54 They answered: "We have given thee the glad tiding of something that is bound to come true. So be not of those who abandon hope!" 55 "Who would despair of the mercy of his Lord," he answered, "but those who go astray." 56 He said, “And what is your next task, O the sent angels?” 57 They said: Surely we are sent towards a guilty people, 58 excepting the household of Lot. We shall deliver all of them, 59 "Other than his wife who, it is decreed, will remain with those who will stay behind." 60
