The pious will live in gardens with streams 45 Enter them in peace, secure. 46 And We shall have removed whatsoever of grudge may be in their breasts: brethren they; sitting upon couches facing each other. 47 Neither any hardship is to reach them in it, nor are they to be expelled from it. 48 ۞ Announce to My creatures that I am indeed forgiving and kind, 49 and that My punishment is a painful punishment. 50 Tell them of Abraham's guests. 51 [how,] when they presented themselves before him and bade him peace, he answered: "Behold, we are afraid of you!" 52 They said, “Do not fear – we convey to you the glad tidings of a knowledgeable boy.” 53 He said: 'What is this, do you bring me glad tidings even though I am old' Of what do you give me glad tidings' 54 They answered: "We have given thee the glad tiding of something that is bound to come true. So be not of those who abandon hope!" 55 He replied: 'And who despairs of the mercy of his Lord, except those that are astray? 56 Messengers, what is your task?" 57 They answered: "We are sent to people lost in sin [who are to be destroyed,] 58 “Except the family of Lut; we shall rescue all of them.” 59 except his wife who is doomed to be left behind." 60
