Al-Hijjr 4 of 6
"Truly! The Muttaqun (pious and righteous persons - see V. 2:2) will be amidst Gardens and water-springs (Paradise). 45 "(It will be said to them): 'Enter therein (Paradise), in peace and security.' 46 And We will root out whatever of rancor is in their breasts-- (they shall be) as brethren, on raised couches, face to face. 47 No weariness will come upon them, nor will they be sent away from there. 48 ۞ [O Muhammad], inform My servants that it is I who am the Forgiving, the Merciful. 49 And that indeed the punishment of Mine is a painful punishment. 50 And tell them about the guests (the angels) of Ibrahim (Abraham). 51 (How) when they came in unto him, and said: Peace. He said: Lo! we are afraid of you. 52 "Have no fear," they said. "We bring you news of a son full of wisdom." 53 He said: Bring ye me good tidings (of a son) when old age hath overtaken me? Of what then can ye bring good tidings? 54 They said, “We have given you true tidings, therefore do not lose hope.” 55 He said: and who despondeth of the mercy of his Lord except the astray 56 He said: And afterward what is your business, O ye messengers (of Allah)? 57 They said: Surely we are sent towards a guilty people, 58 Except Lot's family, of whom we shall save all, 59 but his wife. We decreed that she should be amongst those who remain behind. 60
