"Truly! The Muttaqun (pious and righteous persons - see V. 2:2) will be amidst Gardens and water-springs (Paradise). 45 [Having been told], "Enter it in peace, safe [and secure]." 46 And We shall purge their breasts of all traces of rancour; and they shall be seated on couches facing one another as brothers. 47 Toil cometh not unto them there, nor will they be expelled from thence. 48 ۞ Inform My servants that I am the Forgiving, the Merciful, 49 and that My punishment is the painful chastisement. 50 Tell them about Abraham's guests: 51 They entered to him and said: 'Peace' but he replied: 'We are afraid of you' 52 They said: "Fear not! We give thee glad tidings of a son endowed with wisdom." 53 He said: Bring ye me good tidings (of a son) when old age hath overtaken me? Of what then can ye bring good tidings? 54 They said: "We give thee glad tidings in truth: be not then in despair!" 55 He said: And who despaireth of the mercy of his Lord save those who are astray? 56 He said, 'And what is your business, envoys?' 57 They said: We have been sent unto a guilty folk, 58 "Excepting the adherents of Lut: them we are certainly (charged) to save (from harm),- All - 59 Except his wife, of whom We had decreed that she should be of those who stay behind. 60
