Al-Hijjr 4 of 6
But the cautious shall live amongst gardens and fountains: 45 "Enter in peace and tranquility," (they will be told). 46 And We shall purge their breasts of all traces of rancour; and they shall be seated on couches facing one another as brothers. 47 No weariness will come upon them, nor will they be sent away from there. 48 ۞ Announce to My creatures that I am indeed forgiving and kind, 49 And that My doom is the dolorous doom. 50 And tell them about Abraham's guests. 51 When they entered unto him, and said: Salaman (peace)! [Ibrahim (Abraham)] said: "Indeed! We are afraid of you." 52 They said: be not afraid; verily we bear thou the glad tidings of a boy knowing. 53 He said, "Have you given me good tidings although old age has come upon me? Then of what [wonder] do you inform?" 54 They said: "We give thee glad tidings in truth: be not then in despair!" 55 He said: and who despondeth of the mercy of his Lord except the astray 56 And asked them: "What matter, O angels, brings you here?" 57 They replied: 'We are sent to sinful nation. 58 "Except the family of Lot whom we shall save 59 "Except his wife, of whom We have decreed that she shall be of those who remain behind (i.e. she will be destroyed)." 60
