"Truly! The Muttaqun (pious and righteous persons - see V. 2:2) will be amidst Gardens and water-springs (Paradise). 45 "Enter therein in peace and security!" -- 46 We shall remove all rancor from their hearts, and as brethren they shall recline on couches face to face. 47 Toil shall not afflict them in it, nor shall they be ever ejected from it. 48 ۞ Tell My worshipers that I am the Forgiving, the Most Merciful, 49 But My punishment is surely a painful one. 50 And tell them of Abraham's guests, 51 who came to him saying, "Peace be with you." Abraham said, "We are afraid of you". 52 They said: Be not afraid! Lo! we bring thee good tidings of a boy possessing wisdom. 53 [Ibrahim (Abraham)] said: "Do you give me glad tidings (of a son) when old age has overtaken me? Of what then is your news?" 54 They replied: 'In truth we have given you glad tidings, do not be one of those who despair' 55 He said: And who despaireth of the mercy of his Lord save those who are astray? 56 Messengers, what is your task?" 57 They said: "We have been sent to a people (deep) in sin, 58 Only the family of Lot will all be saved, 59 Except his wife; We ordained that she shall surely be of those who remain behind. 60
