The righteous (will be) amid gardens and fountains (of clear-flowing water). 45 "Enter in peace and tranquility," (they will be told). 46 And We shall have removed whatsoever of grudge may be in their breasts: brethren they; sitting upon couches facing each other. 47 no fatigue there shall smite them, neither shall they ever be driven forth from there. 48 ۞ Announce to My creatures that I am indeed forgiving and kind, 49 And verily My torment! that is the torment afflictive 50 Tell them about the guests of Abraham. 51 [how,] when they presented themselves before him and bade him peace, he answered: "Behold, we are afraid of you!" 52 They (the angels) said: "Do not be afraid! We give you glad tidings of a boy (son) possessing much knowledge and wisdom." 53 He said: bear ye me glad tidings when old age hath touched me? of what then ye bear me glad tidings? 54 They said: we bear tidings of a truth; be then thou not of the desponding. 55 He said: And who despaireth of the mercy of his Lord save those who are astray? 56 He said: what is your errand, sent ones? 57 They said: Surely we are sent towards a guilty people, 58 "Excepting the adherents of Lut: them we are certainly (charged) to save (from harm),- All - 59 all together, excepting his wife -- we have decreed, she shall surely be of those that tarry.' 60
