"Truly! The Muttaqun (pious and righteous persons - see V. 2:2) will be amidst Gardens and water-springs (Paradise). 45 "Enter in peace and tranquility," (they will be told). 46 And We shall purge their breasts of all traces of rancour; and they shall be seated on couches facing one another as brothers. 47 No fatigue will touch them therein, nor from it will they [ever] be removed. 48 ۞ Inform My bondmen that undoubtedly, I surely am the Oft-Forgiving, the Most Merciful. 49 And that My Penalty will be indeed the most grievous Penalty. 50 Tell them about the guests of Abraham. 51 when they entered unto him, saying, 'Peace!' He said, 'Behold, we are afraid of you.' 52 They said, 'Be not afraid; behold, we give thee good tidings of a cunning boy.' 53 [Ibrahim (Abraham)] said: "Do you give me glad tidings (of a son) when old age has overtaken me? Of what then is your news?" 54 They said: We give you good news with truth, therefore be not of the despairing. 55 Abraham said: "Who despairs of the Mercy of his Lord except the misguided?" 56 He asked: 'Messengers, what is your errand' 57 They said, "We are sent to a sinful people. 58 "Except the family of Lot whom we shall save 59 "Except his wife, of whom We have decreed that she shall be of those who remain behind (i.e. she will be destroyed)." 60
