"Truly! The Muttaqun (pious and righteous persons - see V. 2:2) will be amidst Gardens and water-springs (Paradise). 45 (Their greeting will be): "Enter ye here in peace and security." 46 And We have removed any resentments which were in their breasts – they are brothers, sitting face to face on thrones. 47 No fatigue will touch them therein, nor from it will they [ever] be removed. 48 ۞ Announce, (O Muhammad) unto My slaves that verily I am the Forgiving, the Merciful, 49 And verily My torment! that is the torment afflictive 50 And declare thou unto them of Ibrahim's guests. 51 When they came to Abraham they said: "Peace be upon you!" He replied: "Indeed we feel afraid of you." 52 They replied, "Do not be afraid. We have brought you the glad news of (the birth) of a learned son". 53 [Ibrahim (Abraham)] said: "Do you give me glad tidings (of a son) when old age has overtaken me? Of what then is your news?" 54 They said: We bring thee good tidings in truth. So be not thou of the despairing. 55 He said: And who despaireth of the mercy of his Lord save those who are astray? 56 He said: And afterward what is your business, O ye messengers (of Allah)? 57 They said, "We are sent to a sinful people. 58 All except the household of Lut; surely we are going to deliver all of them. 59 "Other than his wife who, it is decreed, will remain with those who will stay behind." 60
