Lo! those who ward off (evil) are among gardens and watersprings. 45 (And it is said unto them): Enter them in peace, secure. 46 We shall cast out any grudge they may have in their hearts. (There) they will sit on couches face to face like brothers together. 47 no fatigue there shall smite them, neither shall they ever be driven forth from there. 48 ۞ Inform My bondmen that undoubtedly, I surely am the Oft-Forgiving, the Most Merciful. 49 And verily My torment! that is the torment afflictive 50 And inform them about the guests of Abraham, 51 When they entered upon him and said, "Peace." [Abraham] said, "Indeed, we are fearful of you." 52 They said, 'Be not afraid; behold, we give thee good tidings of a cunning boy.' 53 Said he: "Do you give me this glad tiding despite the fact that old age has overtaken me? Of what [strange thing,] then, are you giving me a tiding!" 54 They answered: "We have given thee the glad tiding of something that is bound to come true. So be not of those who abandon hope!" 55 He said: And who despairs of the mercy of his Lord but the erring ones? 56 He added: "And what [else] may you have in view, O you [heavenly] messengers?" 57 They said: "We have been sent to a people (deep) in sin, 58 (All) save the family of Lot. Them we shall deliver every one, 59 excepting only his wife, [of whom God says,] 'We have ordained [that,] behold, she should be among those who stay behind!' 60
