When the messengers came to Lot and his family, 61 he said: "Behold, you are people unknown [here]!" 62 They said: nay! we have come to thee with that whereof they have been dubitating. 63 and we have come to you with the truth, and surely we are truthful, 64 Leave the town with your family sometime during the night. Walk behind them and let no one turn around. Proceed as you are commanded." 65 And We made plain the case to him, that the root of them (who did wrong) was to be cut at early morn. 66 The people of the town rejoicingly 67 He said: "These are my guests, so do not disgrace me. 68 Fear Allah and do not disgrace me' 69 They said, "Have we not forbidden you from [protecting] people?" 70 He said, "Here are my daughters, if you must act in this way." 71 Verily, by your life (O Muhammad SAW), in their wild intoxication, they were wandering blindly. 72 and the Cry seized them at the sunrise, 73 And We made the upside there of downwards, and We rained on them stones of baked clay. 74 There are great Signs in this for those endowed with intelligence. 75 And the (cities were) right on the high-road. 76 Verily there is a Sign in this for the believers. 77 And the dwellers of the wood surely were wrong-doers. 78 So We inflicted retribution on them, and they are both, indeed, on an open road (still) pursued. 79

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
