At length when the messengers arrived among the adherents of Lut, 61 he said: "Behold, you are people unknown [here]!" 62 They replied, "We have come to you about the matter which the (unbelievers) have rejected. 63 We bring you the truth, and indeed we are truthful. 64 Therefore go forth with your followers in a part of the night and yourself follow their rear, and let not any one of you turn round, and go forth whither you are commanded. 65 And We decreed for him that commandment, that the last remnant of those should be cut off in the morning. 66 And the people of the city came [unto Lot,] rejoicing at the glad tiding. 67 and he told them, "These are my guests, so do not disgrace me. 68 "But fear Allah, and shame me not." 69 They said, 'Have we not forbidden thee all beings?' 70 Lot said, "These are my daughters if you want them." 71 By your life, they wandered on in their wild intoxication 72 At sunrise a dreadful Shout seized them. 73 and We turned it uppermost nethermost and rained on it stones of baked clay. 74 Herein are really signs for those who discern. 75 That town lies on a road which still exists. 76 Most surely there is a sign in this for the believers. 77 The people of the Wood were also surely wrongdoers. 78 So We took retribution from them, and indeed, both [cities] are on a clear highway. 79

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
