Surely the people of al-Hijr also rejected the Messengers, calling them liars. 80 for We did vouchsafe them Our messages, but they obstinately turned their backs upon them 81 They would carve secure houses out of the mountains. 82 But they were seized by the mighty blast towards the morning; 83 Therefore their earnings did not in the least benefit them. 84 And We created not the heavens and the earth and all that is between them except with truth, and the Hour is surely coming, so overlook (O Muhammad SAW), their faults with gracious forgiveness. [This was before the ordainment of Jihad holy fighting in Allah's Cause]. 85 Your Lord is certainly the All-knowing Creator. 86 (Muhammad), We have given you the seven most repeated (verses) and the great Quran. 87 Do not stretch your eyes to that We have given pairs of them to enjoy, nor sorrow for them, and lower your wing to the believers. 88 And say: "I am indeed he that warneth openly and without ambiguity,"- 89 Such as We send down for those who make division, 90 [and] who [now] declare this Qur'an to be [a tissue of] falsehoods! 91 By your Lord, We will question them all 92 About all what they used to do. 93 Promulgate thou that which thou art commanded, and turn away from the associaters. 94 We shall help you against those who mock you 95 even against those who set up with God another god. Certainly they will soon know! 96 Indeed, We know your chest is straitened by that they say. 97 When (you feel so) glorify your Lord with His praise and prostrate yourself before Him, 98 and worship your Lord until what is certain [death] comes to you. 99
