And the dwellers in Al-Hijr denied (Our) messengers. 80 And We gave them Our Signs, but they were averse to them. 81 And they used to hew out dwellings from the hills, (wherein they dwelt) secure. 82 An explosion struck them in the morning. 83 Out of what they had gained, nothing proved to be of any benefit to them. 84 And We have not created the heavens and earth and that between them except in truth. And indeed, the Hour is coming; so forgive with gracious forgiveness. 85 Surely your Lord is the All Knowing Creator! 86 We have given thee seven of the oft-repeated (verses) and the great Qur'an. 87 Cast not thine eyes toward that which We have let classes of them to enjoy; and grieve not over them, and lower thy wing unto the believers. 88 And say: "I am indeed he that warneth openly and without ambiguity,"- 89 (We have given you the Quran) as We had given (the Bible) to those who divided themselves into groups 90 and also divided the Quran believing in some parts and rejecting others. 91 By your Lord We shall question them one and all 92 As to what they did. 93 So declare to them what We have enjoined, and turn away from idolaters. 94 Indeed, We are sufficient for you against the mockers 95 Who set up along with Allah another god; presently they shall know. 96 We certainly know that their statements sorely grieve you. 97 But hymn the praise of thy Lord, and be of those who make prostration (unto Him). 98 And serve thy Lord till the Inevitable cometh unto thee. 99
